Our family friend's, Will and Joanne, just happened to be heading to the swap meet the day after we arrived, so we decided to tag along. They picked us up and took us to Koa Pancake house, for the first of what would become mannnyyy trips to eat yummy pancakes and fried rice.

We visited base and took our first picture in front of the pacific ocean
We spent the rest of the day attempting to grocery shop for the first time and making ourselves at home in the little hotel room. It was a nice introduction to HI.
