At her 2 month appointment, little baby weighed 11 pounds 12.5 ounces and was 25 inches long! She is getting a little chub on her legs, but nowhere else...even her pokey infant belly is disappearing. Dr. says she is doing really well. She got her first shots and took them like pro, though she did have a small fever for 2 days. She also had her first cold.
She loves her new play mat and will talk to herself and her toys for a good 30 minutes at a time (which seems like forever after 2 months of being attached at the hip). She also talks to us now…we have long conversations full of ooohhss and ahhss. She smiles all the time and sleeps through the night, most of the time. She still won”t take a paci and we discovered she will no longer take a bottle which is just completely depressing and makes giving her the supplement 100% more difficult. Also makes the prospect of leaving the house or long drives depressing…we’ll have to stop twice as much. Oh well. She holds her head up like a pro and loves tummy time for about 10 minutes. She drools a lot now and loves to put her hands and our fingers in her mouth. It is amazing to watch her grow, but also a little heartbreaking because she is already changing so much and getting so big…I want to keep her my little baby forever.
