Another online find was Three Sons Lobster and Fish. Everyone said go there for cheap fresh lobster, so we headed there for a strange brunch on Friday morning. It might have been a little touristy, but that didn't make it any less awesome. The place is on the wharf and it looks like a little hole in the wall. The floor is wet and there are just tons and tons of lobsters in cages. You can get a lobster for 5 dollars and they will pack it and ship for you, or you can get them to cook it right there for a quarter.
We got one lobster, one crab, and some yummy big fat shrimp, some butter, a little pack with a shell cracker, wet naps, a place mat, a bib, and a big thing of cocktail sauce (since they only had one size) all for something like 25ish dollars. The shrimp were the most expensive, but I can't eat seafood without eating shrimp. It takes about 10 minutes after your order for them to cook your food and then you take it outside to these old beat up picnic tables and eat on the wharf. Definitely bring your own newspaper, paper towels, whatever you need because there aren't plates or napkins hanging around. I remember reading that but completely forgot to bring those things, so we bought the convenient pack I mentioned for 5 bucks each. I'm pretty sure the experience is about 80% of the point, but the lobster and shrimp were pretty yummy.

Who knew the inside of a lobster was so yucky? Everyone but me apparently.
Happy family! Well, two members are happy, but I think one member is still waiting for his lobster.
After lunch, it was time to leave. We took a few pictures of the area from the top of our parking deck, which was about as tall as anything else in the city.
Pretty sure this bird followed us for the rest of our vacation.
Then it was goodbye Portland, hello Rockland.
