August 7th was the celebration of 30 years of "bonus life" as my Mom so aptly put it (it was also the original day I wrote this post). 30 years ago, she broke her neck, and while it may seem like a tragic thing to celebrate, its really a joyous thing. She has accomplished so much and has such a beautiful life. I couldn't imagine the world without her.
