Madeline is a lucky kid. She gets multiple parties for almost every holiday and her birthday is no exception. And yes, it is a holiday. We did cake a day before her birthday, just in case Derek couldn't get home from work in time the next day. The day of her actual birthday I attempted to take her to the Children's Museum (per her request) but I forgot it was closed on Monday. The second option was the beach, but it was too much to drive home and then back to the beach, so we compromised, got a smoothie, and went to the aquarium. There was absolutely no one there and she got to run around and see everything she wanted. She loved it. After Derek got home, we did presents.
Finally getting to tackle the big box…she dragged it to her before realizing she needed a new approach to open it
Her two new twin baby dolls were her big present. She loved them but I think she loved emptying the box of all the new accessories that came with them even more. Madeline sure does love her presents and we sure do love giving them to her…maybe too much!
