Here are some random snap shots from March. Derek left in Feb. and was gone for all of March, but had a little pit stop in Alaska, so we got a chance to talk to him for a minute. We spent most of the month trying to keep busy, when we weren't at the doctor's office. Between my ingrown toenail needing to be removed then the infection not going away and Madeline getting hand foot and mouth, I think we saw the doctor more in Feb. and March than we ever have. Of course, we've seen the doctor more in our 6 months in Hawaii than we have in the last 2.5 years. Lolly and Pops also came to visit, but that will be a separate post.
Attempts to get pictures of our view as you drive down from our mountain.
We have a Kim Chee Bar in our grocery store! So yum!
Madeline dressed herself for this doctor's appointment. She has entered the stage of caring about what she wears and now wants to pick it out herself. Usually she chooses her tutu dresses.
A fun little craft we did
Madeline's new castle. She is still obsessed with this thing.
A picture of Duffy bear in Alaska, with Daddy.
Beaching it up…these were the first few times she actually enjoyed the water and got in by herself. Hard to believe there was a time when she screamed about being in the water.
Sleeping photos
Another Koa Pancake house breakfast. Pancakes, grilled cheese, and fried rice. Our usual.
Another picture of the view and how Madeline was dressed that day. It gets super windy up here, which means it can be a little chilly. Plus, we were experiencing some low temperatures at the time. I don't think it warranted gloves, but whatever makes her happy.
For some reason she likes to take her shirts off
The height of our Frozen obsession…Elsa doll with Elsa dress and watching Frozen with Anna, Elsa, and the other princesses.
